WHO IS CAROLYNE SCOTT?

Carolyne Scott is more than a performer — she is a living testament to resilience, transformation, and purpose. Raised within Milwaukee’s foster care system, Carolyne learned early how to survive. What the world did not expect was how beautifully she would rise. Through music, movement, and storytelling, she turned pain into power and carved her way onto some of the most meaningful stages in Las Vegas.

A gifted singer and songwriter, Carolyne has released original music including Stay, Blackgirl, and Tired — deeply personal songs that speak to identity, healing, and self-worth. Her music has garnered attention from outlets like MTV and respected music blogs, resonating with listeners who hear their own stories in her voice. As a live performer, she is known for her raw, emotive delivery and commanding stage presence — the kind that stops a room and makes people feel seen.

Her artistry extends beyond music into film and theater, with acting credits in No-Knock (2015) Deeper Than Law (2024) When Things Go Left 2 (2025) For a Fee (2017), and powerful performances in Las Vegas stage productions such as Dreamgirls, Once On This Island, and Violet. Each role she embodies carries the same truth she lives — vulnerability, strength, and heart.

Carolyne is especially revered for her work as a Tina Turner tribute artist, widely recognized as one of the youngest performers in America to honor the legendary icon. She is the only woman in Las Vegas with her own one-woman Tina Turner tribute show, holding a weekly residency at the LaMarre Theatre in the Downtown Las Vegas Arts District. Her electrifying performance is not imitation — it is homage, storytelling, and soul. This dedication has earned her the Las Vegas Black Music Awards’ Entertainer of the Year for three consecutive years: 2023, 2024, and 2025.

But perhaps her most powerful work happens beyond the stage lights. Carolyne is a Stage Performance Teacher for the youth program It’s Only the Beginning under ItsGorgeousMusique, where she pours into young artists who remind her of herself — hopeful, searching, and full of untapped brilliance. Through Broadway in the H.O.O.D and Project 150, she passionately advocates for homeless and foster youth, standing as proof that beginnings do not define endings.

Carolyne Scott is the embodiment of becoming — a woman who turned survival into song, adversity into art, and her voice into a beacon. Every note she sings carries a message: you can rise, you can heal, and you can become somebody new.
